At Mace, we choose our people for their ability to provide the optimum care and dedication to your child to the exacting standard you would expect as a parent.
All staff are CRB checked upon joining the Company. (CRB = Criminal Records Bureau).
Our people receive a comprehensive induction programme of training as they start their career with us. Their induction covers subjects such as Paediatric First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and the extensive Base Room Practices to familiarise themselves with our standards and procedures.
Mace offers one of the widest ranges of training courses available within the Industry and are registered with the LSC with our own approved training scheme covering NVQ and Advanced Modern Apprenticeships, plus many more schemes to ensure that we meet their career development expectations.
Staff ratios are 1:3 for 0-2 year olds, 1:4 for 2-3 year olds and 1:8 for 3-5 year olds.
