The daily routine of the base rooms will depend hugely on the age of your child. Each day is planned and approved by our professionals to include activities that are perfect for your child's learning.

Our Day in the toddler room

7:30-9.00 Smiley faces arrive at door and children are welcomed in with cuddles. Free play.

9.00-10.00 Introduction to Spanish through play, songs and games for pre-school class. Mat Chat, songs and newstime for toddlers.

Morning break and outside play Fun for all on climbing frame, slide and ride-on toys.
10.00-10.30 Dance and singing session (stretch those legs!)
10.30-11.30 Current topic with lots of fun filled activities.
11.30-12.30 Tidy up/storytime followed by lunch
12.30-1.30 Wash hands and faces please. Snooze time for sleepyheads and outside play for wide-awakers! Ballet time for pre-school class. Point those toes! (Swimming on Fridays.)
1.30-3.30 Messy play - cooking, painting, sand and water, junk modelling. Imaginative play - home corner, dressing up, shop, role play.
3.30-4.00 Tidy up and let's see what's for tea.
4.00-4.30 Wash hands and faces please. Hide and seek games outside. Play and care for our pets in the garden.
4.30-5.30 Soft play and quiet times for tired little people (cuddles on the sofa).
5.30-6.30 Get ready for Mummy and Daddy. Bye bye to all my friends - see you tomorrow.

Our Day in the pre-school room

8.00-9.00 Welcome and structured free play

8.30 - 9.00 Breakfast time(pour their own milk, spoon their own cereal as part of the Montessori method)

9.30 - 11.00 Montessori cycle of practical life, sensorial, literacy, maths and culture .
10.00 Snack and nappies changed if needed, toilet training practiced.
11.00 --11.20 Circle time. Say hello, discuss the days of the week, the weather, season, topic of the week. At the end the children choose what they want to say.
11.20-11.30 Tidy up time and ready for lunch. Wash hands.
11-30 - 12.00 One child is picked each day to server all their friends
12.30 - 12.45 Wash hands and toilet.
12.45 - 2.00 sleep time. For those who don't sleep, read books, do quiet activities, and use the computer for ICT.
2.00 Wake up time. Wash hands and faces and get ready for the park. Perhaps get bread for the ducks?
2.30 - 3.45 Park time, structured activities, parachute, swings, sand play, feed the ducks. This routine changes each day.
3.50 Tea time. One child serves all his friends.
4.15 - 5.15 Montessori cycle/ ICT
5.15 - 5.30 Tidy up time
5.30 - 5.45 Circle time
5.30 -6.00 Home time!
