About us

MACE Montessori Schools is owned by Rehana and Shahid Hamid. They have 2 children Haroon and Kamran. Rehana comes from a medical background working at Frimley Park General Hospital and at King Georges Hospital, London, in research and Microbiology. Shahid has a Business development and Training background and has worked in the National Press for more than 15 years. Both have an affinity towards children’s learning with Shahid now under Montessori training at Montessori College International.

We admit children to school at Mace from 0 – 5 and ½ years. We employ fully trained Montessori teachers as well as at least one other member of staff with an alternative qualification in child-care. This helps to ensure that the needs of our little children (0 – 2 ½ ) are carefully monitored, nurtured and supported throughout their school day. As parents, we understand that often children of this age require different care and activities, as well as sleep cuddles and nappy changes.

The teaching and caring teams’ head is Aleesha Farhan. Aleesha has years of knowledge and experience in Montessori teaching and caring for your children in a safe and homely environment. If you have any day-to-day issues Aleesha will be happy to answer them.
